How to Raise a Dispute with a Mechanic

What Qualifies as a Dispute?
A dispute can arise when:

  • The work was not completed to a satisfactory standard.
  • There is a disagreement over pricing or added charges.
  • Damage occurred during the mechanic’s visit.
  • The mechanic acted inappropriately or unprofessionally.

Steps to Raise a Dispute:

  1. Log into your account on BookMechanic.uk.
  2. Navigate to the booking in question.
  3. Click “Raise a Dispute” and fill out the form with evidence (photos, receipts, etc.).
  4. Our support team will review your case and may contact both you and the mechanic for further clarification.

We aim to resolve most disputes within 5 working days.
